Zero-G takes a 0% stake fee and a 10% fee on rewards.
Staking involves locking up cryptocurrency in a blockchain network to support its operations and earn rewards. Restaking, on the other hand, takes the rewards earned from staking and reinvests them back into the staking pool.
EigenLayer is a decentralized protocol that allows users to restake their staked assets across multiple blockchain networks. This maximizes staking efficiency by enabling stakers to earn compounded rewards and enhance network security without additional capital. By redeploying existing staked tokens to secure additional chains, EigenLayer increases the utility and yield of staked assets while supporting multiple ecosystems simultaneously.
EigenLayer points measure a user's contribution to restaking activities within the EigenLayer protocol, based on the amount and duration of staked assets. They influence rewards and governance rights within the ecosystem. Similarly, Zero-G points share the same attributes but with the ability to earn an allocation of $ZEROG tokens in future airdrops which can then be transferred, sold, or used for important governance decisions within the Zero-G ecosystem.
